About Us

The original Camp in Enterprise, Alabama, was formed in 1919. Its most recent incarnation was chartered on June 14, 2007.

Our first newsletter was published in October 2009. Our first major project was the Battle of Newton Reenactment, October 17-18, 2009. We are playing an increasingly larger role in the annual reenactment. Our camp is one of the primary sponsoring organizations for the Battle of Newton Committee.

During the last five years, our camp has participated in the dedication of a state historic marker, and many grave marking ceremonies conducted by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. We have also played our part in numerous charitable/public service activities over the years.
